Why does AI have to take the fun and interesting people away?
On a bad day I might only do the dishes and a load of laundry (health reasons). Sadly my ChatGPT subscription does nothing to help in this area.
And meanwhile the stuff I really love to do and to appreciate - art, writing, music, ideas, the creative heart and soul of humanity…
…well it’s all being assimilated into a large language model to be shat back out at the push of a button. By anyone who can push a button.
And I kind of wish that button wasn’t so readily available to people who believe it’s a reasonable substitute for a lack of talent, effort, creativity or soul.
I reckon we’re going to miss those creative humans in a few years time.
When all we’re left with is managers who’ve mastered the art of maximal productivity with minimal effort and imagination.
